We have worked with Jyri Karisto on several projects, the most recent being three bespoke apartments on Balmoral slopes. The project fronted two streets and had a fall of over 15 metres. It involved a large basement with 5 floors above, serviced by an internal lift.
The degree of difficulty was extreme, with constant vibration monitoring during excavation, ground water issues and numerous transfer beams to offset a design that was driven by statutory setbacks, height limits and view corridors.
